One of the best places for breakfast and lunch in Pasadena. Very tasty yet affordable, with a cozy and casual atmosphere. The owner is a super nice guy and may hook you up with some free homemade hummus if you’re lucky.

Had a wonderful and very pleasant lunch there with my therapist a couple of weeks ago. We wanted a place that was quick but not rushed service as well as a place located near the First Baptist Church on Marengo and Holly that would allow us to park in their garage and have a nice leisurely stroll through Memorial Park to and from the restaurant. The meals were excellent the service was quick, polite and not annoying. It was slightly more expensive than I had expected, but well worth that little bit extra. Great ambiance and I loved all of the artist's framed artwork hanging around the entire dining area that was for sale (but displayed very tastefully.

The restaurant looks like a cottage home, and having brunch with an overhead fan and wooden floors in 2018 definitely brings on the brunch ambiance. It seems the crunchy French toast is the item of choice for brunch, but I wasn’t much of a fan. It felt like they breaded the French toast in corn flakes, and generally bland without any condiments like syrup or fruits. The candied pecans were probably the best supporting flavor. The eggs benedict was very tasty. The “special potatoes” were diced potatoes mixed with bell peppers and onions. Hash browns were not an option. I should have ordered an additional side because the base plating was not filling.Overall the meal was lackluster. Nothing was strikingly good or bad, just very average for a brunch spot.

Much better than other alternatives (like Russell's). Fantastic french toast lived up to the namesake claim: fantastic! Crunchy and sweet on the outside, chewy and sour in the inside. Nicely balanced. The maple syrup served was decent, not exactly AAA grade, but good enough. The Texas chili omlette had a nice kick. Gets you going in the morning. Just enough cheese to make it cheesy. OJ was fresh squeezed. The prices were much more reasonable than others in the area for sure. What you get here seems to be a much better deal for great taste, nice service, and clean environment.

Charming cafe with excellent breakfast food! I loved the crunchy French toast with fresh fruit 😋 It is a small place but the wait isn’t usually too long. The staff are friendly and accommodating. I also enjoy looking at the art on the walls. Parking is a little tricky sometimes but it is well worth the effort. Convenient location. Will be back for more

A great place for breakfast! I had buttermilk pancakes with a side of potatoes. Very good. My mom ordered a side of sausage and eggs with her pancakes which were very good as well! The atmosphere and location is what makes this place special though. Just a short walk from Old Town Pasadena.

Marston's is a cute breakfast joint. The restaurant is in a small cottage and serves a variety of American foods. We had French toast, eggs, and omelettes which were all delicious. There is a waiting list outside on the sidewalk that you can add your name to. Be warned that there isn't a lot of space, in both the parking lot and the restaurant expect to be packed like sardines. But the food is great so it's worthwhile.

This has been a favorite since childhood. We used to go to the old Pasadena Athletic Club (which no longer exists), then go to Marston's for breakfast. Quick service (once you get a table - sometimes busy on weekends) and delicious food. The pulled pork Benedict is one of my favorite breakfast choices.

An amazing spot in Pasadena for brunch. Their french toast is delicious as are their omelettes. Parking can be tight as the lot on the side is tiny and street parking is usually full.

Great place for breakfast! It's a small place so it gets packed. I recommend going early. Been there a couple of times and the wait for two to three people is usually about forty minutes to an hour. It is definitely worth the wait thou! The French Toast is amazing!! Food taste fresh! The parking is very limited and tight.

Food was tasty and well prepared. Cooked just right. Staff were friendly and attentive. Went on a Sunday around brunch time and it was surprisingly quiet, which was nice. No wait and not too noisy; but this might be abnormal...great place, especially if you're staying at the Marriott Courtyard, really close by and a short walk.

Amazing family owned restaurant. I highly recommend the French Toast or an omelet!

Some non-traditional options worth investigating. Better food than we expected. Excellent service. A better than average sandwhich lunch spot. Worth a try, but not for everyone.
